Here at Knitting on Cloud Nine we are passionate about teaching kids to knit.  We also recognise that we are all just big kids at heart and so our fun, quick & easy projects are enjoyed just as much by adults too!  No complicated patterns, tension swatches or brain busting – just a bit of handmade, quirky fun!  So here is a FREE knitting pattern for our DIY Daffodils that can be made from scraps of yarn & felt to add some sunshine to your day.  These knitted DIY daffodils are popular with our kids knitters and our adults and are a great idea for Mother’s Day crafting or Easter.

Our pattern uses beginner techniques of cast on & off, knit stitch & increasing and we only knit the trumpet section of the daffodil.  There is a template included for you to make the petal base from felt.  Super quick & satisfying.  A perfect handmade gift too!
